Our
Philosophy:
We seek to provide an emotionally secure and physically
safe environment where children are encouraged to explore a variety of
experiences and materials through play and planned activities. Our professional
staff plans and implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum in
a supportive, nurturing learning environment to promote each child's social,
intellectual, creative, physical and emotional growth.
The Center is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care.
Our Program:
Full day child care is available in three programs:
• Toddler: 12 months and older by September 1
• Preschool: 3 years old by December 1
• Pre-K: at least 4 years old by December 31 - 6 years old (and not yet in Kindergarten)
We also offer a limited Extended Day Kindergarten program
We provide individual attention and care for every child,
with low teacher -child ratios in a homelike atmosphere. We believe in
supporting families and being responsive to their needs so that together
we may provide the best care and learning partnership for you and your
child.
We encourage children to use their natural curiosity
to explore their worlds through nature, literacy, the arts, computers and
physical activity.

Our Staff:
Our certified staff is trained in Early Childhood First
Aid and CPR. Continuing professional development and training in the field
of Early Childhood Education and issues provide our teachers with current
information and make them lifelong learners. Our teachers are dedicated,
nurturing, and experienced in the care and education of young children.
Student interns from local school programs are also an integral part of
our ongoing learning environment.
Our Parents:
We welcome parent involvement by sharing your talents
and or time with our program and by becoming involved with our PAL (Parents
at Large) group.
Our Admission Policy:
The Creative Mind Children's Center does not discriminate
in providing services to children and their families on the basis of race,
